    The attention to alignment and precision of movement in Pilates paired with good posture at the start of an exercise and through the movement helps to build confidence in kids (as well as adults too!)

    Posture Reboot while sitting:

    1. Sit on the edge of your seat, heels under knees and hands on your thighs.

    2. Breathe in through the nose, push hands gently down to help lift your chest (broadening into a wide smile across the collarbone).

    3. Exhale through the mouth, roll the shoulders back and down into opposite back pockets and sit even taller.

    4. Continue for 4-6 breaths, retracting the chin and bringing the earlobes over the shoulders and back of the head in line with the rest of the torso/trunk.

    5. Finish by rounding down over your thighs to touch the toes and then roll back up an imaginary wall and sit up tall again;-)

    Try this 2-3 times a day and see if you can memorize this posture when you stand up.
